Iranian futurist.
Iran is a Middle Eastern country located in
Southwest Asia. Although locally known as Iran from the ancient
times, until 1935 it was referred to in the West as
Persia.
The name Iran is a cognate of "Aryan" meaning "Land of the Aryans".
Iran has been home to a wide variety of peoples for thousands of
years. Excavations have revealed the bones and artifacts of both
Neanderthal and
Modern man. Many ancient men who lived in or
conquered this land are remembered even today:
Zoroaster,
Darius,
Cyrus the Great,
Alexander the Great,
Genghis Khan, and the
Magi
(wise men) of the biblical story.
I founded this independent media in 2003 for those Iranians
and
Persian-speaking individuals
around the globe who are interested in
Futures Studies and
Policy
Analysis. I strive to help the
public at large to more wisely choose and create the futures they
prefer. In addition, I believe that free access to helpful
information, analyses, and new ideas are among the basic rights of
Iranian communities in a knowledge-based
global society. I do not and will
not promote any kind of ideology in this website.
